About SPCC
SPCC stands for Salvatorian Pastoral Care for Children, a parish based child protection project organized and founded in 2001 by the Congregation of the Sisters of the Divine Savior (Philippine Region) also known as Salvatorian Sisters, a non-stock, non-profit, charitable institution.

VISSION
Specific envisions:
Every child in a just and humane society.

MISSION
Impelled by the spirit of the founder of the Sisters of the Divine Savior (Salvatorian Sisters, SPCC commits itself to make Jesus Christ known and loved thru the promotion of the well-being of children.

GOALS
To facilitate the development of a child-friendly parish through community parish-based intervention and strategies in child protection which consider the Filipino culture and the context of poor communities.

To inspire and foster a caring and nurturing environment for children within the families and communities.

To minimize the risks involved for children who are in need of special protection through ensuring adequate emergency, basic and social services.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES:

Intervention Program (IP)
*Psycho-social help and support to the exploited and abused Children and Women through:

+Home Visitation
+Referral Services
+Counseling Sessions
+Para-Legal Assistance
+Education Assistance

Prevention and Community Education (PCE)
*Advocacy and awareness raising through Symposium, Furoms, Conference and Lobby Sessions.

Formation and Training of Child Rights Advocates (FTCRA)
*Capability building of Child Rights Advocates (CRA's) as partners in protecting and upholding the Rights of the Child.

Community Organizing (CO)
*A vital tool for the social transformation of the community.

Networking and Linkages (NL)
*A venue for broader connection and coordination with other child-caring agencies and communities.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS:
Read Aloud Programs
*An alternative activity for children which aims to enhance their interest and joy in reading.

Livelihood Program
*An income generation activity for mothers to help augment their family income.

Feeding Program
*A supplemental feeding activity for clinical underweight children in the Parish.
